Getting started begins with creating your business on ZyncLedger. Signup is payment first: you choose a plan, pay securely, and ZyncLedger sets up your own private workspace, ready to log in to.

Before you start

Have three things decided:

  • Your plan: monthly or annual. You can compare them on the pricing page.
  • How many users you need. This is your number of seats, and it affects the price. You can read more in Your subscription & billing.
  • A workspace name: a short id made of lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. It becomes your web address, so pick something recognisable.

Creating your business

  1. Choose your plan

Start from the pricing page and pick Monthly or Annual. This opens the signup form with that plan selected. You can switch between monthly and annual on the form.

  2. Enter your business details

Fill in your organisation name, your name and email (this becomes the first admin account), your workspace id, and the number of users you want. There is also an optional one-time setup service if you would like the ZyncLedger team to configure your account for you.

  3. Pick your workspace address

Your workspace id becomes part of your web address. ZyncLedger adds -ledger to it automatically, so if you enter mango, your workspace lives at mango-ledger…. The form checks the name is available before you continue.

  4. Pay securely

You are taken to a secure payment page to pay in Sri Lankan Rupees. Once the payment goes through, ZyncLedger creates your workspace and takes you straight to your new dashboard.

Signing in later

After signup, you log in at your own workspace address (the …-ledger web address from step 3). Bookmark it. Everyone you add to the business logs in at the same address.

What you start with

Your workspace is private to your business, with its own separate data. To save you time, it comes pre-loaded with a sensible starting setup:

  • A default chart of accounts (cash, bank, accounts receivable and payable, sales, cost of goods sold, common expense accounts, and more).
  • Standard account types, payment methods, payment terms, locations, branches, document numbering, and print templates.

Your customers, suppliers, and products are not pre-filled, because those are unique to your business. Adding them is the first thing you will do in Setup & master files.
